Is and was in many ways a strange year that many artists have used to work on new series and try new ways. Isabela has also taken advantage of the newfound time to begin her new series, Distorted. The photographer has stayed true to her roots and experimented with long exposures, movement, and bright light. The exciting thing about the photographs is that they are long exposures which are taken in one single shot. She rotates the camera, zooms in and out, and adds various manual functions during the shoots. She stayed away from any digital editing and only used the camera’s capabilities or her own to create extraordinary light shots.

The result are distorted images that cannot be created again through their individual handling.
